Energy Advice For The Vulnerable
 

In October 2005 the Energy Retail Association set up the Home Heat Helpline to provide one central point of contact for help and advice on paying fuel bills.

The Home Heat Helpline now provides the cornerstone for all help and advice for low income households making sure people get what they are entitled to.

Partnerships
Our aim is to work with partner charities, the government and stakeholder organisations to help people manage their energy bills. The six electricity and gas suppliers, British Gas, Scottish Power, EDF Energy, Powergen, NPower and Scottish and Southern Energy which fund this Helpline, are committed to helping vulnerable and fuel poor customers.
